Fees
Our annual Club Membership fees cover the period from September 1 to August 31.
- Adult Outrigger Membership: $175pp
- Junior Membership (8-18 years of age): $50pp
- Family Membership (2 adults + 2 kids under 18): $300
New members joining after the first six months of our financial year will be charged fees on a monthly pro-rata basus.
Insurance
All members of the club are required to obtain insurance by paying annual membership fees through the Australian Outrigger Canoe Racing Association (AOCRA).
This covers members and other insured persons/entities involved in activities that are sanctioned by AOCRA eg. races, individual and official training. **(SOURCE: VInsurance 24 September 2022)
Outrigger paddlers will need to pay for AOCRA insurance after payment of their club membership (contact the club registrar for more information)
Application process
- You’ll need someone to nominate you as part of your application. If you don’t know anyone within the club, please contact the registrar.
- Once you have a nominator, please fill in the Expression of Interest Form.
- Once your application has been processed (within five working days), the club registrar will provide instructions on how to pay for your registration using an online membership platform (NOTE: Ski paddlers can also use this platform to pay for their Paddle Australia fees).
- New Outrigger members will then be required to become a member of Australian Outrigger Canoe Racing Association (AOCRA).
